ACCOMACK COUNTY AIRPORT
Also known as the Melfa Flight Strip, Accomack County Airport was built in about 1942 by the United States Army Air Forces, and was originally used as an emergency landing airfield for military aircraft on training flights. After World War II it was closed and turned over for local government use by the War Assets Administration.
It is a public use, county owned airport located about one mile west of Melfa, and covers roughly 100 acres of land. Should you require private jet charter at Accomack County Airport, look no further than Air Charter Service for unrivalled service and selection.
