Alpine County Airport is located four miles north of the central business district of Markleeville, in Alpine County, in the state of California. It is a public use airport, owned by Aline County and ranked as a general aviation facility. The airport was opened in January 1968 and has a single runway, but no buildings and no lights. It only averages 54 aircraft movements per month and is closed when it snows.
