Animas Air Park is located five miles south of Durango’s central business district, in La Plata County, in the state of Colorado. It is a public use airport, privately owned by the Airpark Property Owners Association. The airport covers 100 acres (40 hectare) and has no control tower. It features one asphalt runway, which is in good condition.
