Granbury Regional Airport is a publicly owned airport two miles west of the Granbury CDB. Granbury is the county seat of Hood County in Texas. The town was formed in 1887, and today the town has a population of approx. 8000 residents. The town has many historic landmarks, and is home to the Granbury Opera House, which still hosts Broadway productions. The city was named after Hiram B. Granberry, a Confederate General. 1853.
