North Texas Regional Airport , also known as Perrin Field, is a county owned airport in Grayson County, Texas between Sherman and Denison. It was previously known as Grayson County Airport and is a very large facility with several companies operating from the 1,410 acres. It has two runways, one of which is one of the largest in the country, and both are covered in asphalt and has a taxiway. In 2007 the faculty reported 53,300 aircraft operations but on average carries out around 146 flights per day and bases just under 200 aircraft.
