Rescuing a grounded family flight to Antigua
A luxury travel agent needed our help when a private jet they’d arranged was grounded with a cracked windshield.
The aircraft had been flying a family from Boston to Antigua, stopping to collect additional passengers in New York on the way, but was forced to land in Puerto Rico after the fault was spotted on the outbound leg. We sprung into action to find a replacement aircraft to complete the group’s journey to Antigua and return them home at the end of the holiday.
Route: San Juan > Antigua > New York > Boston
Aircraft: Gulfstream V
As soon as the request came in, we started looking for a recovery aircraft in San Juan. Using our unrivalled contacts and superior buying power, our experienced team quickly sourced a Gulfstream V that was ideal for the task and could fly the 10 passengers to Antigua immediately. The group made it to their holiday destination with just a small one-hour delay to their original schedule and their return flight also ran smoothly with no delays.

Extra Touches: We secured an upgrade from a Gulfstream IV to a Gulfstream V, both for the initial recovery and the group’s return trip.
